Accommodation in detail
Entrance: From the car park a small footbridge takes you over the beck to the rear entrance of the property. The contemporary conservatory style entrance offers a place to take off boots and coats after your Lakeland walks.
Living-area: A hallway leads you on to the open-plan living space to the front of the property with its floor to ceiling glazing running its length and offering fabulous and unique views. The living area offers everything that you would expect from this luxurious accommodation with space to relax in comfort and space to cook and dine. The under floor heating creates a lovely ambient temperature with a designer log-burner to create that special romantic atmosphere on cooler nights.
The two bedrooms are set privately on either side of the hallway, each with en-suites; one having a large walk in shower wet room and the other a freestanding designer bath with shower attachment.
Bedroom 1: A fabulous king-size room with private en-suite.
Bedroom 2: An excellent and well-appointed twin
Outside: Private parking for 2 cars. Lovely front terrace with views of the fabulous setting.
The beautifully designed curving slate-built structure and green pitched-roof match the environment here perfectly. With its low carbon footprint, View Point is one of three holiday homes at Riverside Terrace and means that your stay will not negatively impact the beauty you are coming to enjoy. The high-spec interior of View Point is an ideal complement to the stunning natural surroundings, too. Carefully thought out facilities and consummate stylings are echoed throughout.
You will find all the comfort you need to recline in peace in the excellent open-plan living-area, with its sleek kitchen and underfloor heating, and the fabulous floor to ceiling windows bring the outside in and let you gaze over the river and fields to the fells beyond. The bespoke cylindrical wood-burning stove is perfectly designed to bring cosy vibes to those cooler nights, and on warmer days you will be able to enjoy wandering out onto the stunningly situated front terrace and enjoy a glass of chilled wine in the most relaxing of surroundings.
The stylish bedrooms offer a king-size and the second is a twin, so important if you are coming with children. If you are, this is a really fascinating place for them to discover. There is countryside to explore, a river to picnic by, and diverse wildlife to spot; deer in the morning mists, ducks and herons, the occasional badger or fox in the fields at dusk.
Walking is the chief activity around here, and for good reason. The fells and valleys are full of paths and trails, from mighty day walks to easy evening rambles. And with bustling Ambleside and poetic Grasmere villages just a short drive or scenic walk away, you have so much to see and do right from your doorstep.
