NEW PROPERTY UPDATE! : Released with availability from Mid November 2017 the existing artists impressions used in this listing is soon to be updated with photography.
The serenity of the River Rothay flowing past your windows, and the grandeur of the sweeping views across the fields beyond to the fells, will enchant you every day of your stay here. Riverside Terrace is a select collective of holiday homes within a meticulously designed environmentally concious modern slate-built structure that matches its setting superbly. A green pitched-roof and curving stone walls are matched with an exceptionally low carbon footprint.
Environmental conscience does not come at the expense of comfort or luxury, though! A classy interior has all the facilities you could wish for, including a stylish kitchen and underfloor heating. The open-plan living area benefits from floor-to-ceiling windows to really make the best of those incredible views, and al-fresco living is just footsteps away on the lovely front terrace. What a place to relax in the evenings and soak it all in.
The location is so beautifully central, with Ambleside a couple of miles to the south, and Wordsworth's Grasmere a little to the north. A rambling country lane lets you walk to Ambleside and access the fabulous facilities and attractions of that most popular of Lakeland villages, and you will certainly not want to miss the beauty of Grasmere, nor it's Wordsworth Museum or its renowned gingerbread shop! It goes without saying that the walking routes round about you are second to none, and the whole of the Lake District is conveniently laid out around you for exploration.
Deer, badgers and foxes are often to be spotted here, and herons frequent the riverside, too. Waterside is the perfect haven for wildlife, and the perfect haven for Lakelovers, too!
