Teal Nook also has private access to the Lake, via a private walk at the end of Lake View Drive.
Adjoining Teal Beck, but with private access, garden and parking. Gaze out from the balconied roof terrace to the wonderful views of the fells and the beautiful village where the surrounding mountains appear so close you can almost reach out and touch them. An open staircase leads to the bedroom.

A private lane leads to your cottage where you park your car and walk through the garden to your front door. Opening into a glorious open plan living space, with a well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Enjoy a delicious breakfast whilst discussing the day ahead in the dining area. Continue into the lounge area where a picture bay window looks out to the fells. The comfortable furnishings and the wood burning stove makes this a great place to relax and enjoy whilst unwinding after the days events.
On this level is the shower room with wc, basin and shower. An open wooden staircase leads to the bedroom room with double bed and ample wardrobes. A great space with access through French doors to the private roof terrace where you can while the evening away with a glass of wine whilst star gazing.
Outside there is a pretty enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture that is perfect for al-fresco living, all facing south and ideal for lazy days or pre-dinner drinks. Private gated parking for 1 car.
We regret this property does not accept pets, however the owner does occasionally reside at the property with her dog.

But a holiday property in Grasmere isn't just a dream for walkers. This historic Lake District village is famed for its connections with the poet William Wordsworth, who lived in the village at Dove Cottage - now owned by the National Trust and open to the public as part of the Wordsworth Museum. Artists will enjoy browsing several watercolour galleries in Grasmere, particularly the Heaton Cooper Studio which displays the Cooper family's famous work as well as that of inspired local artists.
The village centre has all the facilities you'll need during your self-catering holiday in the heart of the Lakes. From local shops and supermarket to quaint tea rooms and acclaimed restaurants - the Good Food Guide- listed Jumble Room is a treat for a special occasion. For touring by car or exploring the Lakes, the A591 leads you effortlessly south past Rydal Water to Ambleside on the northern shore of Lake Windermere, or north to Keswick and Derwent Water. Also easily found to your south are the breathtaking Langdale Valley and the Lake District's third largest lake, Coniston.
